Nice Lie

Played for the Hardy B team today, away at Queens Park in Bournemouth. Apparently back in the day it was a top course and played host to a number of big events and big players, including none other than the legendary Seve Ballesteros!

I had been told than it had gone downhill in recent years, but I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course and it was a really tough test of golf. I played with Willie today, and we got spanked 4&3. Played ok but it's always tricky on a course you don't know. However some of the others faired better and we drew the game 2 1/2 - 2 1/2.

Managed to find this lie on the 16th.. the match was over by then so it didn't matter, but how it balanced on the down slope and didn't go into the ditch, I'll never know!
