Santa Claus comes to Stonehaven

Lots of excitement this morning getting ready to welcome Santa Claus arriving by sea to Stonehaven. First walked through the town to see the Christmas tree - it has suffered a bit from the gales but still standing strong. Then down to the Harbour past the old Town House and Mercat Cross. There were, of course, lots of kiddies on the beach but not many over the age of five  -  perhaps the over-5's are waiting until he gets into town!  Freezing weather but the kids didn't seem to mind! However, nothing that a glass of Laphroaig at The Ship didn't put right, following by a poke of chips at the Carron Fish Bar.  Have a nice weekend, Everybody:)
