Surprise!

MEGA busy day today with lots to get done! One of the first stops was the Post Office, where for a change, instead of bills and statements, there was a package!! Collected it in no time, and opened it was soon as I got back to the car. Friend rachelwhynot has surprised us by posting two CDs I recently bought (one of them the latest album by favourite artist Sara Groves). There was more in the package... like this gorgeous (non-fattening) Advent calendar. Never seen one like it before! Opened it and we've caught up to today. The detail is incredible. Can't wait to see the whole picture.

And in between, we had a quick walk through IKEA, did a bit of a shop, went over to Galeries Lafayette to see what G could get with a £100 voucher she has (she couldn't find anything), got Gs new phone working as it should (i.e. accessing the internet), I've had my hair tidied up (at last), got the Christmas tree down, and done other mundane weekend chores. Every minute spoken for it would seem. Upgraded to Windows 10 on one of the laptops. That's going to be interesting. Right now, it's taking AGES to dowload. Over 4 hours and only 67% done.
