My tree dresser

I had put the lights on the tree but left the baubles and chocolate etc until Bella came so she could do it with Matt. She enjoyed doing it and although the ornaments are all down the bottom the tree looks beautiful. Matt kept asking for chocolate and she kept saying no chocolate daddy!!!!! The rain never stopped today and it never got light. Kate and I were going to see Simply Red in Manchester but we decided not to go as after all the rain it would freeze tonight and we didn't want to travel in awful weather if we didn't have to. We definitely made the right choice as there is so much flooding around and the gritters are out and about. Matt and I took Bella to the garden centre to see Father Christmas, we queued for half an hour and she was a bit reluctant at first but we sat on a bench opposite him to talk to him and she told him what she wanted for Christmas. When she and Matt moved nearer to him for a photo she clung to Matt and was not happy. There was a reasonable photo and she does like looking at it and will say Father Christmas and point. She was so tired she fell asleep on the way home.
