Not a pose I have seen a staffie do before but pretty impressive just the same.

She and Dexter gave us a very warm welcome after a splendid day under the guidance of Foy, our guide for Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana. Foy not only educated us about the battles at each site but added smatterings of additional history, little anecdotes and family stories that made us smile.

We started the day with a hearty breakfast followed by a great picnic lunch, then a delicious three course dinner. I could get used to this although I am not sure my waistline could cope.
