This is a Christmas tree?!

Ok, we're in a different country, things are different. Like no Christmas tree's. You wouldn't really expect to see a beautiful fur tree growing here, I realise that. So this is our Christmas tree - apparently this is the tradition here, granted, it needs to be sprayed and decorated. I'm skeptical, but will wait to pass judgement when the real thing is up.

Let's just say a proper Christmas tree is very, very hard to beat. And I mean one that was once growing and fills the room with a delicious pine smell, having been decorated in a toasty warm room, cold outside, ideally wih a trashy Christmas film on in the background and maybe a glass of mulled wine.

Back to the sisal tree, we'll see how it turns out.
