A wave from Santa

A very cold start with frost and ice everywhere so we took David to work. Mike ran into Dobbies to get two take-away rolls with egg and bacon. We drove down to Merkinch to eat them. I hoped to see the otter. Beautiful views across the Firth and there he was swimming towards us. He sat on the way near the slipway eating something. We watched him, took a few photos, no big lens with me today though, and he slipped silently back into the water and swam off to catch another meal.
We went for a walk to Whin Park trying not to slip. Very icy and the river Ness was still very high. A further walk round the Botanical gardens and then to Morrisons for a shop. We came out just as the Santa run started so headed back to the River to get a few photos. This was one of many Santas and he spotted me with the camera :)
