Arms*

For July challenge, letter A (again), here for your delectation is a shot of my dinner, calamares a la plancha, or grilled squid, my favourite dish here after stuffed aubergines. I always save the crispy tentacles - arms - until last, which prompted #2D to wax lyrical about the time her younger brother, about 8 years ago, innocently and loudly asked me, in a packed restaurant, why I don't eat the testicles straight away. Her signature deep dirty laugh, then as now, could probably be heard on the mainland if the wind was in the right direction.
