Burning Bush

Not the biblical one that Moses found on the mountain but this one, Marlanes' favourite winter bush.
It has red branches so even when the flowers and leaves have gone it gives colour in the garden.
Noticed lots of bulbs coming up and even the Peony are sticking their buds above the ground.
Is it Spring before the winter has properly started? We haven't had a decent frost yet, which is why the bulbs are being fooled as it has been very mild so far.
