We're A Thousand Miles apart and I Miss you...

And so it is, that all good things must come to an end.

An evening of giggling, farting, drinking and eating, (all in moderation doncha know), finished with whispering in bed til 3 am, and then a slow rise and a breakfast of Pancakes and Maple syrup and Crispy bacon.

It was still my "weekend away", and so I was determined to enjoy my drive home -and enjoy it very much I did.  The temperature was -1, and Jack Frost had kissed every piece of greenery in the world.

It was with delight I drove down the road in the muted sunshine - there was a cold fog laying over the sun, but the everywhere around me was white and bright and beautiful.

There are more mountains here, than I have at home, and I was loving the snow tops of them, and then the flat valley of Stirling, with the castle crag, and Wallace Monument proud in the middle of it.

Such a lovely drive, and I was able to stay awake the whole way home.

:)
