All the Good Things and the Bad things That may be

Today, we took Ma and Paw, up to the Airport, they are heading off for sunshine before Christmas.

We were to be there for 10; we checked they had locked the doors, closed the windows and switched off the TV, because the last time they went they left everything open, unlocked and switched on.

After we dropped them, we headed for The Temple of Sweden; and had a very reasonably cheap breakfast, and bought as many lights as I could get in the trolly, and then made the unforgivable mistake of thinking Christmas shopping in Braehead would be okay at that time of day.

I hate it.

I hate it; if I could stay away from shops from the End of November until February I would be happy. Parents dragging screaming/crying / shouting children (delete if appropriate). People spending money they haven't got, on things that no one will really need or want.

I am of the opinion that if it doesn't make you smile, or laugh or you really need it for a specific reason, then presents are rubbish.

For that reason, everyone in the world that I buy presents for are getting thermal underwear, wet wipes and a travel toothbrush.
