Festive brooch

This Christmas brooch was given to me a couple of years ago from the USA. It sparkles and gleams and is fun to wear at this time of year!
In contrast, most of my other festive brooches and earrings look very restrained!
We had a tasty pot roast for lunch before our guests set off for the A303, M3, M25 and M11.
It's a shame that they have so far to go home, but the journey went quite smoothly and they are now home.
Meanwhile, I was pleased to receive a text from my daughter and family this morning, announcing that they had arrived in Perth, Western Australia for a three week stay over Christmas.
