Pastels

I stayed with M&D today. The weather was horrid and I decided to drive in better conditions tomorrow! I can't believe I won't see them for a month. When I'm away, my sister and family are taking them by car and boat to Ireland to stay with my brother.

I knitted some of all 3 of these today, had coffee with a neighbour, had a wander round the garden centre for Scottish smellies, napkins and t-towels to take to the US...3 days to go. Am explosively excited and just a tad nervous. My sister is just as excited to have us to stay - and probably a bit nervous too!!

I wish that my knitting needles were not on the forbidden list for hand luggage - as offensive weapons! All my hobbies are dangerous! I may stick to reading a book for safety's sake on board!

I read an amusing article where a granny took two pencils in a pencil case onto the airline and proceeded to knit with them...
