The Pay-Off

BJ and I have completed a lot of "projects" around the house this weekend. Today proved very productive. A cloud covered sky allowed us to be outside without being scorched - thus creating more work time.

We started early with weeding, roto-tilling, wood-splitting, raking, clean-up, garden work, and putting the finishing touches to the yard. The gazebo finally holds some sort of seating - I don't believe the Robin who has nested within the ceiling is happy about that.

The grounds have been a constant project year after year, and to see how far it's come since we moved in is both rewarding and exhausting. We can't wait for the driveway to be paved (the rains have pushed everyone back) - it will just compliment all the other work that's been done.
