Early Evening View
After 18 years of living right here, we have not gotten tired of this view. It is just spectacular to see across the community where we've lived our lives. I took this photo right before we ate a late dinner on the patio shortly after 7:00.
We were a little late having dinner because a neighbor from down the street came over to give us an estimate for patio cover/sunshade structure. His business is patio covers and rain gutters. He said he's not doing much rain gutter business. He brought notebooks of photos with lots of styles and designs. After he measured, he then drew the blueprint design with his straight edge. He understood exactly what I want. So we'll get his estimate tomorrow.
After he left, we barbecued dinner and enjoyed the mild summer air. The high today was only 84 degrees F.
In a couple more weeks we'll be at summer camp on Catalina Island. We're still hoping that our great-grandson Tristan, who is now 5 years old, will get to go with us.
Good night from Southern California on this 184th day of the year.

P.S. If you look at it in "big" the very tall AT&T Tower at the south end of our community can be seen.
