More museum musings...

Ok, I admit it, I broke the Janet. I was persuaded today that we should take the bus rather than walk into the museum section of Amsterdam. We walked a mere five and a half miles, but most of that was inside the Rjiksmusem.

The place is huge, and it's hard to point to particular items on display as the best. However. The immense godlike temple guardians in the Asia section stood out, as did the Night Watch by Rembrandt. In truth the Night Watch evoked such a moment for me, wholly connected with Terry Pratchett, it took me away for a moment to three.

Leaving, we found the weather fairy had included some wet in her recipe for the day. Global climate change perhaps or not, but the rain had melted the ice on e skating rink and so I got this picture in various colours as the lighting did its thing.
