The Nutcracker Ballet

Tonight we were fortunate to be able to watch the classic Christmas Ballet, The Nutcracker, danced by The Royal Ballet, shown live, from The Royal Opera House in London.
The show was filmed and shown at over 850 cinemas, world wide, on a live stream.
Our, rather small, local cinema-The Cine Roma, in Alfaz Del Pi, .......was full! ....Spanish and expats from many countries had flocked to the cinema.
The show was fantastic.
The Royal Ballet's Principal Ballerina, Lauren Cuthbertson danced the role of The Sugar Plum Fairy and Matthew Golding was her Prince.

We feel most fortunate that Cine Roma, only 10 minutes away from home, by car.....organised the show. During the interval, there was free drinks and cake! It was during the interval, that I met the local ballet teacher, Hazel, who had taken 30 of her students to watch the performance.......inspirational!
