Another morning spent in the saddle. I picked up the Trans Pennine Trail at Latchford Locks where it follows the route of the disused railway line to Altrincham. First it was through the village of Thelwall, where, if one is very lucky, you can catch a glimpse or at the very least hear, the Thelwall Fire Duck.

Then it was on to Lymm. The Lymm Festival is in full swing. One of the events is Poetry on the Trail. There were lots of poems pinned to trees and fences along this stretch of the trail.

It was back home after a couple of hours in the saddle. Time now to get my kit ready as I have a first night photoshoot this evening with the cast members of Bugsy Malone.
