Thames Beach

I have wanted to get down on to one of the beaches on the Thames in docklands for ages. Today presented an opportunity. So down some slippy steps by the Prospect of Whitby. But hold on a mo - what do we have here? 

I didn't imagine there would be a noose hanging there. Unclear whether it was freshly used. So I took my photo and beat a hasty retreat.

Then processed it in Nik Analog Effex.
