Hometime

We had time for a quick breakfast before Mum and I set off for home. Everything ran really smoothly, but it seemed to take much longer this time. I love looking at the departures boards in European stations; the possibilities in the destinations seem so exciting. We stocked up on a massive baguette and a bit more chocolate for our Eurostar journey home. Unfortunately we missed our train at Liv St by 5 minutes, so had to wait an hour for the next one. But that was a minor irritation in what has been a brilliant holiday.
