'Leavin The Big Smoke'

Up at 4am this morning to drive to Port Melbourne to catch the 'Spirit of Tasmania II' over to Devonport. Today was the first day sailing for the summer and it was chockers on board. Left Melbourne at 8:45am and arrived in Tassie at 6pm on the dot.

The kids had an awesome time on board and Bass Strait was pretty calm throughout the entire journey. I took the kids to watch Inside Out while MsMun had a rest, we ate, played games in the games room, napped and the time passed pretty quickly.

It was really nice to have the cool sea breeze out on deck, apparently Melbourne and Adelaide were scorchers today.

Out for a quick dinner at a Japanese Restaurant in Dvonport and off to our cabin for the night. Showers and bed time now.

The ship has just left port again on its way back to Melbourne.
