Gannet colony at Muriwai

Back in Auckland one year on and it feels like we were never away. Life in the Northern Hemisphere seems very far away and happened a long time ago. 
We headed west today to see a colony of cousins of the Bass Rock gannets. They breed at Muriwai near Auckland and then fly to Tasmania when mature, only returning to to Muriwai when wanting to breed. 
Afterwards, we headed back to Auckland to see the Force Awaken in 3D.
