Happy Birthday to me

...and before you ask....I'm NOT 501!  Making re use of last year's candles!

When No 3 was dancing we took the big girls into the German Market and Winter Wonderland  and to meet Fiona and Gary who popped over for a few hours.

They probably spent longer on the train trip to Edinburgh than the market.  It was ridiculously busy, but since the temperature is a balmy 14.5 degrees even the ice skating rink was melting.

More of a flying visit for us though...we will pop back tomorrow with the wee one after our late lunch at Cosmos (late birthday treat).

Finally got round to making a Christmas List of things still to do, and write a few cards.  Haven't made a cake this year- I'm very unorganised Wish we had another week before the big day.

We haven't even put up the tree yet.  When I was growing up the tree NEVER went up until my birthday, we were the last house in the street to do it.  So tomorrow night - it finally goes up!
