Paw Aid
Today was the last Music Aid-day, and early this morning there was a manifestation on the square with a group of dogs dancing to raise money. We couldn't be there because we left early with grandma and grandpa to go to the summer house, but we watched it on TV. They did a great job and raised a lot of money in their digital collection tin.
The summer house was amazing as always, I had such a great time! Me and mum went up into the forest, to my beloved great rock. We got some lingonberry and blueberry sprigs to put in vases for Christmas, and I even found two blueberries! We gave Christmas gifts to our very kind neighbour, and mum and grandpa had to deal with a mouse who had wreaked havoc. I don't know the details because I wasn't allowed to help.
Late in the evening, Music Aid came to an end. We have followed it on and off the whole week, mum has been there three times and me once. It has been fantastic to see how people have gotten involved to raise money for the not completely straightforward cause disaster prevention so people don't have to become refugees due to climate change. Things like flooding safe water and sanitation systems, adapting farming to arid conditions with water saving irrigation, change of crops and much more, education in cyclone affected areas on how to act and protect your home and cyclone warning systems, and tree planting. The total tonight was over 31 million kr or 3,2 million €!
The picture is us on TV from earlier this week. Mum has finally found out how to get a picture of it, so the picture is technically from today but honestly not what is in it... We have loved to be part of Musikhjälpen, so this is to celebrate this amazing event!
