Today's the day .......................... for artistic licence

This was our family Christmas card, sent out to all and sundry in perhaps 1958.

I think I've said before that my Dad was a good photographer.  For quite a few years around this time, he would get us to pose - then use the photograph in those Christmas cards that have a slot for that purpose.  So that's me at the back with my sister, Marj, and my brother, Ron.  Looking at it now, I can remember that the book that Marj has - is actually upside down.  The one that I have is a book of French songs, and so wouldn't have been much use for carol singing.

But hey, a bit of artistic licence never hurt anyone ....................
