Of anger
Of despair
Fathomless
Floundering
In the black mire
Of despair
Stupidity

A morass
Of my own making
Formed from a desire
A need
To find
That thing
Which never existed
A dream
Based on a smile
A word
A kindness
A misunderstanding

Clarity
Like the pool
Its depths
Calling
A release
From pain
An invitation
Gilt edged
Accepted
