High On A Hill Was A Lonely Goatherd....

Preparations are in hand for the next major hill climb.

I was going to take a snap of him sewing them on.... but I thought many of you wouldn't be able to cope with the fact that not only do I have a husband who does all the cooking and ironing, but sews on badges too might be too much for you to take.

Normally I would sew them on, but he is getting fed up with my knack of sewing on with alternating colours - pink thread for black edges, blue thread for green. I knitted him a jumper once - while he was away at sea, in the Gulf for 6 months, I figured he'd need a jumper when he got home to stay warm.

The one thing he really LOVED, (and I mean that most sarcastically) was my beautiful big black blanket stitch around all the seams. I would have blipped that, but after 23 years I unpicked it and I'm going to knit him a new one with the same wool :-)

On the Tooli front - we got a phone call tonight. There have been two massive arguments, neither of which she was involved in, green vomit, water parks, and free bars with all their meals, lost room keys, "the strip", bed around 5 or 6 am! Sounds like everything is A-Okay.

On the Boy Front - last week he ran 8.6 miles in 1 hour twenty minutes - today he played football for 2 hours, well getting into the training for his return to the states in 4 Weeks!!! Yeah, he's only been home 8 weeks already, and heading back in 4... Where the flipping heck does the time go?
