Wet

This handsome chap has done better than me to keep smiling in yet more torrential rain.
I made it back from London whilst it was just still light - so in a gap in the rain I headed out to shake off the city & make pooch smile. Calls from home this morning had told me how fast the waters had risen again, the water table currently appears to be right beneath your feet. Fortunately for now & for us it's dropped again - but I'm saddened to hear the Eden has already broken its banks in Appleby - and the forecast for Thursday, Friday & Saturday is torrential - not the news anyone wanted to hear - its going to be a hard Christmas for some folks - our hearts go out to them.
