Little and large

We braved town today - our own fault for not being more organised, the crowds were bearable, the heat was almost unbearable.  

We took refuge in our favourite cafe where the owner has a very soft spot for Alex, taking him for a lap of honour around the cafe having spent about an hour chatting to us and playing with the boy. 

Our last minute Christmas shopping is finished, now all we need to do is wrap it all and I still need to finish making some things for the neighbours.  Very, very last minute I'm not proud.  

The first of the Christmas guests has arrived, my brother in law's mother in law, that's a lots of in-laws, especially considering I'm living with my parents in-law....
