..as white as lily flower

Seem to be having a bit of a 'The Holly & the Ivy' week, which conveniently ties this blip into Christmas.  You know that verse:

The holly bears a blossom as white as lily flow'r
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ to be our sweet Saviour

I particularly like those 2 lines because of the not-quite-rhyme.  It's like singing in harmony and hitting an atonal chord: there's a sort of lovely crunch as the music resolves itself. 

Today some tiny bits of extra shopping also resolved themselves and I had a coffee/cake/chocolate session and present exchange with two lovely friends at the best patisserie in town - we don't do things by halves!  Now all there is left to do (apart from blipping) is a mound of cooking!
