A Mooch!

Sister and I went for a mooch round Tavistock in the grey drizzle! Much fun browsing the antiques in the market then my sisters favourite shop - quilting! Fabric, knitting, tapestry, buttons, beads and ribbons! Even makes me want to make something! We bumped into Friend and her daughter coming out - the daughter had been on bra making course and had bought fabric to make everyone bras this Christmas! We had lunch in The Cornish and went back to the car via the church. They had 3 Christmas trees! This was my favourite, and once home I looked up the symbolism of the stag - one site said " The stag or deer is a symbol of piety and devotion, and of safety in God's care" and another put it more forcefully as "The stag is a symbol for Christ, who tramples and destroys the devil." So there you go!
A quick stop for the usual chicken pellets then home with just time for Tilly to come out and inspect the kitchen for titbits!
