What a beautiful day

I had a meeting in Penrith this afternoon, so slipped into town earlier to get a few last-minute cards and essentials (all Christmas shopping completed - by a man - before Christmas eve!)

What a glorious early afternoon - clear blue skies, and I loved to see the sun casting the shadow of the tree on this wonderful red building - it almost felt summery. 

Yet we all know there's more rain to come.

A polarising filter to bring out the blue of the sky, and PhotoShop used to correct the converging verticals and remove a plethora of power lines from the sky - and from the shadows on the building!
