Lucy the almost beagle
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw her
You would probably hear her too.
All of the other beagles
Used to laugh and call her names
They wouldn't let poor Lucy
Join in all the doggy games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Lucy with your antlers bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight"
Then all the other beagles
Jumped around and sang with glee
"Lucy the almost beagle
You'll go down in history"
