Moon Rising on Christmas Eve

A real downpour on the way in to work this morning. My new waterproof trousers did a god job of keeping me dry. Spent the morning dissecting client requirements. A nice walk at lunchtime, get some fresh air. The rain has had a significant effect on the river levels, closing the path in a couple of places. Luckily we got the green light to leave the office a little earlier than usual, although I will be on call over the festive period.

Having probably over captured Dean Village on camera the past few week, I was glad the moon was rising when I went up to the shop to see if there were magazines to collect, and get some fizzy soft drinks for tomorrow. Difficult to capture in the road with 1/2 second exposure time, especially with cars getting in the way, but it looks pretty atmospheric.
