Life is Good!

Out on our very icy paths - Jan is using a “spark”, a kick sledge, to get herself along. I’m walking in the ditch to avoid the ice, hence the low point-of-view.
It rained all night and the temperature has been +4 or 5 C so the snow is very much reduced.
But it's Christmas, and we have a warm home, our health, contact with our families via modern techniques, a pile of presents, a blazing fire, and right now I am feeling full of a delicious traditional dinner, and there’s plenty more food in the house! On top of all that we live in a lovely place and have some very good friends around us. All in all we have nothing to complain about and an awful lot to be happy about!
