ANOTHER ONE?!

James' guitar count is now at five (six if the bass guitar is included).
This one is an absolute belter - lovely sound and beautiful to behold (mahogany body with gorgeous blue clear glaze, rosewood neck, mother of pearl inlays).  I spent rather a lot of time decorating the box it came in last night - album covers, vintage posters and sheet music all collaged and sealed with sticky back plastic. A couple of shots on the extras if you want a look!

Christmas day has been calm and gentle.  Exactly what I needed to be honest.  We have eaten well, drunk a little champagne and have relaxed.  It's been lovely.  A video call with the Croydon contingent was a lovely tea time treat too.

Tomorrow, a jaunt to Crewe is likely.

Before that, the last episode of Downton Abbey.  Fortunately, the BBC are providing a new period drama for me to watch from next week, as War and Peace has been serialised.
