Learning day by day

By EmmaF

Christmas Morning

Kids opened their stockings before church. At church it seemed most regulars went either to family mass or midnight. Carys ended up serving on her own to Fr. Stephen, the chaplain for Pentonville prison and a visiting priest. The only flap she had was when she realised no one was bringing the offertory gifts. I realised at the same time and, unable to see anyone I recognised, grabbed a random man to help me take them down!

After church N &P came over, kids gave us a carol concert and then distributed the presents from under the tree. They were very lucky, lots of books amongst other things.

Lovely day all in all. Best bit was watching them both dance in the kitchen when Carys had read two sides of A4 explaining the story of CATs to read at the end they have tickets to see it in London tomorrow.
