Boxing Day

After the excessive eating yesterday we were ready to get out and have a  bit of exercise skiing. Same routine as the past few days, we ski until about 2pm then come back down as Adam has university work to do and the rest of us are more than happy to just relax. It is still very quiet on the slopes but many visitors arrive in the village on the 27th so when it gets crowded I may choose to rather go walking or cycling.

The new apartment is one out of five apartments in a chalet apartment building. We seem to have very nice neighbours, two of them dropped welcome gifts off when we arrived and this morning on our way out to go skiing we met one of the families. They were very friendly and welcoming, and of course they all speak perfect English whereas our German is extremely poor. Quite different from our neighbours back in England, one of them is a neighbour from hell who is always complaining about something.

A relaxing evening beckons, with plenty of turkey and lamb leftovers for dinner.
