Through the window

It is a generally a time for home and family and the comforts of the hearth.  We have had no family round today but met some friends and had an impromptu meal together as they accepted our invitation to help us eat our Christmas turkey which was only cooked today. It was all the more enjoyable for being unexpected.  There is a good example of cobbler's shoes syndrome in the photo as the more discerning will notice that this shot was not taken at ten to two!
