Cake Day

We didn't get round to the cake yesterday, so it was dessert today when my sister and Chris popped round (waded round, more like) for lunch.

And so another day spent largely preparing and guzzling food, including a Ready, Steady, Cook moment where with cold turkey, sausages, and a small pepper I had to produce something delicious and vegetarian....

The awful wet weather continues, but Mam and Dad's position half way up a big hill keeps them safe, so long as we don't start surfing down into the valley...
