Franklin Road

I went in to town with my cousin Oscar to buy some shorts (to replace the ones I've worn every day for well over a year) and to find a present for my uncle. I bought some feijoa smoothie which was fantastic. Feijoa is still one of my favourite fruits and I can't wait for the season to start around March/April.

In the evening we all walked down Franklin Road to see the Christmas lights; an Auckland tradition and one I last did 11 years ago. There were singers, instruments, model train sets, with each house competing to be the best. This house had a Kiwi bird and Santa.
