Drive north

Everyone was packing up ready for our trip north. I packed up the Christmas tree and sorted out my bags, then finished watching the documentary on Netflix.

I drove my uncle's two-seater convertible car with my cousin Max, in convoy with my uncle. We started with the top down but it cooled off later in the afternoon. We arrived at my uncle's land near Matakana, moved in to the building and had a take-away curry. It's quite rural and basic but there's electricity and lots of home comforts.
