Christmas Angel
As Boxing Day's go, this wasn't the best. Wall to wall rain and a largely wasted journey to Dobbies. First off Tesco had no diesel so we had to go to Asda instead. Dobbies was closed, so we went to a nearby pub for lunch. Back to Tescos to pick up supplies for tomorrow's family lunch; no punch and only full price Christmas puddings.
On top of that we were all feeling under the weather too; we'd been going down one by one with some sort of cold infection that was manifesting itself differently in different people. I was the last to come down with it yesterday, having held out for over a week.
It was still raining when we stuggled out for an early evening walk, but the right clothes means you stay dry. We had an enjoyable Christmas dinner and Christmas pudding when we arrived back from our walk. This Angel and the lights were part of the table decorations.
Hoping for better weather tomorrow but the rest of the week sound desperate with a weather bomb of a ferocity rarely seen is forecast to hit over the New Year.
Answers to yesterday's quiz:
"What does the Queen call her Christmas Broadcast"? The One Show
"What was the result of Santa's speed dating experience"? He pulled a cracker
