Sleeping long-eared owl

Naff shot but as these birds are so difficult to spot and photograph, I am blipping and keeping this as a record shot. Another bird off the list. 
Today's sightings: 
3 pochard
1 male goosander
2 goldeneye 
14 gadwall
1 little grebe 
2, yes 2 long-eared owls 

I have made my pledge to blipfuture and hope it all goes well. 
Hope you all had a good Christmas, and if I don't blip beforehand -  Happy New Year. 

It stopped raining today but I don't suppose that will last long.
