Black, White, and Blue

I often drive by this small farm that has 4 equines. Two horses and two donkeys.

The animals were taken in under different circumstances. I think the two horses were mistreated and malnourished. One of the donkeys has a bad club foot, and I don't know what is wrong with the other donkey. The banner on the front of the fence says a lot. The closing line reads...These animals are loved.

In the extras, there is an encore of the flock of cranes that visit the national cemetery. I took about 25 shots before my camera went kaputz. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that this might be the end. It happened once before (just after the warranty ran out), and Canon fixed it. I don't think I'll be so lucky this time.
