Today's the day ........................ for blue skies

Drove northwards today to join some of the family in Edinburgh.

It was a lovely journey with blue skies and sun to speed us on our way.  There was plenty of water about - specially the River Eden near Carlisle which had turned into a lake - but nothing to cause any trouble on the roads.

The party quickly got going in Edinburgh with plenty of good food and drink to enjoy.  Lovely to catch up with little Tessa who is beginning to take an interest in her surroundings as you can see below .................
