Made up
There's been a big hole burning in my pocket since Christmas Day, so I decided today was the day I needed to hit the shops and spend, spend, spend!
Mr A was working today so he's been spared the agony of being dragged around the shops, which I'm sure he'll be glad about.
The drive to Manchester was good, much quicker than the bus. The only problem was parking; why do they make spaces so small? And why do people park like goons?
It took me 3 attempts to find a space where I could get in/out of my car, not have my bumper up against the car in the next row or have my bonnet sticking out a mile because the person behind had parked too far forward.
Shopping wasn't too traumatic as I had a wish list. I can't justify spending so much money on make up ordinarily, which is why I ask for vouchers so I can buy without guilt. It felt good to get all the stuff off my list; family have really spoiled me this year!
Clothes I can (& do) buy anytime, whereas make up is my little treat and as its never included in the sales, it's rare I can bag a bargain.
It's safe to say, I'm happy with my little spending spree. Time to start a list for my birthday now ;-)
