Hydrogen

For about a year now Aberdeen has had a few of these hydrogen powered buses. As the drive around the town they are probably the most city centre pollution free buses around as the only exhaust should be water. I seem to have read somewhere they are extremely expensive to produce, and that they are purchased with the help of a subsidy from the EU. Another benefit is they are much quieter than the usual diesel powered buses.

This is part of my attempt to catch up on back Blips, consequently I no longer remember if I was waiting for a bus, or was on my way down the road for a coffee. I think it may have been the latter.
