Muckle Waves

It's been a fairly calm day and plenty of sunshine.  I was thinking it was going to be another day like yesterday, nice surprise :)  Think the gales pick up again tonight. 

I enjoyed a long lie this morning, no work today :)  I've managed a few good walks with Sammy this morning.  After lunch, my popped by and we headed out to Burra for a walk at Minn.  We also popped by aunt Binnie in Scalloway, shame she wasn't home but we still enjoyed a walk around the village.  A quiet evening at home for a few hours, before I have to go to work in the pub later. 

Me and Sammy enjoyed a walk along the banks.  The stormy weather has fairly stirred up the seas and even though it's been calm today, the seas certainly haven't.  Massive waves rolling in and noise has been incredible.  I sat down and ended watching for a while, and then some more folk came down too.  Not sure who they are but this lady was sure getting close to the edge :)  Taken at Hogra, Cunningsburgh.
