Homemade Satay

It felt like the first dry day in some time, and we took advantage by heading up in to the Pentlands, with the Bug in a backpack, and occasionally let him loose on foot. It started off well, with him enjoying a splash in some shallow puddles, but soon gave way to toddler tantrums when he wanted to splash in deep puddles, but wasnt allowed to as he didn't have wellies on. 

N fixed the garage guttering in the afternoon, and I made satay for the first time. I'm usually one for sticking to a recipe, but I read quite a few and liked the sound of different bits and pieces from each, so it was a bit off-script, but I was really very chuffed with how it turned out. Nice one!
